I love the price drop on the iPhone. Apple is being extremely aggressive, and that’s fantastic. However, this move isn’t just screwing the competition. It’s screwing the important existing customers: the early adopters.We’re not going to see lines outside the Apple Store again for new products (which creates buzz). The early adopters will, in the future, be waiting for a price drop. Without them, future product launches will be harder – tech always gets cheaper, but it also relies on the early adopters.
